What Kirkwood lawns need that Metro West delivers
Common Kirkwood lawn problems we fix
Top issue at Kirkwood addresses: tight lot lines and detail edge work. Kirkwood’s older neighborhoods have tighter lot lines than newer Metro West suburbs — that means precision matters more. Our crews trim, edge, and blow with the same care we’d give a lot 10 times the size. Clean lines along driveways, around mature tree wells, and into bed transitions.
Second most common: mature shade trees and turf adjustment. Most Kirkwood properties have generations-old shade trees that create dappled-to-full shade across significant portions of the lawn. Standard sun-blend fescue struggles. We recommend shade-tolerant cultivars for fall overseeding in shaded zones, and adjust mowing height higher to compensate for reduced photosynthesis.
