Two ways to beat Missouri’s clay soil: core aeration in the fall, liquid aeration in the spring, and both paired with overseeding for the thickest, healthiest lawn on the block. We’re the only crew in Metro West pushing liquid aeration as a full spring program.

We only use commercial-grade equipment and premium seed. No half-measures.
Commercial walk-behind aerators pull 3-inch cores, 2β3 per square foot. No spike rollers. No rental-grade stuff.
Zone 6b-tuned turf-type tall fescue seed. Drought-tolerant, disease-resistant, dark green.
Seed-safe starter fertilizer applied at the right rate so seedlings get exactly what they need.
Printed 4-week schedule tailored to your lawn. The right watering = germination. The wrong watering = wasted money.
We schedule mid-September through early November for best results. Spring aeration available on request.
We text you at week 4 to confirm germination looks good. If anything’s off, we address it fast.
Traditional core aeration happens in fall. But your lawn waking up from a Missouri winter needs a different kind of help in the spring β and that’s where liquid aeration changes the game.
Our signature spring jumpstart. Liquid aeration wakes the lawn up, loosens soil compaction that built up over winter, and feeds the first flush of growth. Best done once spring ground temps hit 50Β°F.
Paired with core aeration and overseeding β liquid aeration maximizes seed-to-soil contact and helps seedlings root and establish faster before winter.
Metro West sits on heavy clay soil. Every year, foot traffic, mowing, and summer heat compact that clay into a near-impermeable layer. Water can’t reach the roots. Oxygen can’t either. Fertilizer pools on top and washes into the street. Result: thinning, yellowing, patchy lawns that look “tired” no matter what else you throw at them.
Core aeration breaks that compaction open. The holes let water, oxygen, and new seed reach the root zone. When we overseed into those holes with premium fescue, seed-to-soil contact is near-perfect β germination rates jump from 20β30% (broadcast seed) to 70β85%.
The optimal window for Zone 6b fescue is mid-September through early November. Soil is still warm, nights are cool, weed pressure drops, and seedlings get 6β8 weeks to establish before freeze. We do spring aeration too, but fall wins every time for long-term lawn health.
