The best lighting doesn’t look like lighting. It looks like your home just happens to glow beautifully after sunset. Good design layers pathway lights, downlights, uplights, and accent spots so the eye travels naturally — no glare, no hot spots, no visible fixtures distracting from the effect.
The reason most home lighting fails is the same every time: cheap plastic fixtures from a big-box store, surface-run wiring, and no design thought. They look okay for six months, then bulbs burn out, fixtures yellow, ground stakes loosen, and the whole system becomes a maintenance headache.
